Maple Orbit

YOUR FIRST FIVE MINUTES

Connect Google. Choose a website. Start your review.

You need a Google account with access to an existing Search Console property. No software to install and no payment card required.

1. Continue with Google

Open the workspace, choose your account and approve read-only Search Console access. Google handles your password. Maple Orbit does not ask for a client ID, secret or API key.

If Google shows an unverified-app warning, review the requested permissions before deciding whether to continue. OAuth publication and verification are separate; do not assume a live website means Google has verified it.

2. Choose the website

Select a property in the Website menu, then Apply. If you see a Domain property such as sc-domain:example.ca alongside https://example.ca/, select the one you intend to review. Domain properties cover protocols and subdomains; URL-prefix properties cover their exact prefix.

Missing a website? Check the signed-in Google account and its permissions in Search Console. Maple Orbit cannot grant access or create a property.

3. Check a complete period

Begin with the default 28-day range. The app leaves a short delay for final Google data; the most recent date may still be incomplete. Leave Country blank for all countries or choose can for Canada. Apply again after changing filters.

Overview compares the immediately preceding equal-length period. Open Keywords to see query-and-page rows and Pages for landing pages. A position decrease is generally an improvement; it is an average rather than one fixed rank.

4. Save what you want to revisit

Save report keeps a private snapshot of up to 100 rows per period. Export CSV downloads the current returned rows. Record your next edit in Change journal so you can revisit the context later. Preferences in Settings follow your browser account across sessions.

The three-day trial begins after successful connection. No automatic charge. You can still manage saved items and settings when reporting access expires.
