Request the relationship you need
A query report lists search terms. A page report lists URLs. A combined query-and-page report helps you see which returned page is associated with a search. Ask for the dimensions that answer your question instead of collecting every possible combination.
Retrieve up to 1,000 query and page rows for the last complete 28-day period. Identify a small shortlist of returned queries with impressions and limited clicks. Include the URL and raw metrics, and disclose the retrieval limit.
Turn a shortlist into a useful edit
Open the existing page and check whether it answers the searcher’s likely need. A page with the right topic may need a clearer explanation, better product availability or a more accurate title. A query alone cannot tell you which of those is the problem.
For a Canadian retailer, check whether the page gives accurate CAD pricing and delivery information when those details matter to the visitor. Do not add a city name just because it appeared once in a query.
What the report cannot establish
Queries associated with your site are not keyword-volume estimates for an entire country. The browser workspace applies country, device, query-contains and page-contains filters before retrieving rows. The connector has a narrower filter interface. Neither can assume omitted queries follow the same pattern as the returned subset.
Two pages appearing for the same term are also not automatic proof of a problem. They may serve different needs. Review their purpose and performance before recommending consolidation.
Next: question-shaped searches and country breakdowns.
